Medical Qigong is form of energetic healing, it is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has been in use for many years. It can be used to cleanse the body of toxic emotions that have stagnated in your tissues, causing pain. It helps to relieve anxiety, nervous tension, and is an ideal complement to talk and or EMDR therapy, helping you to heal trauma held in the body. It can also remove energetic blockages that may be keeping you from progressing forward in your spiritual path, either physically, emotionally or energetically. It is non-invasive, and often leaves the patient with feeling of deep relaxation.
WHO CAN BENEFIT
This form of energetic therapy is ideal for those that work with the public on a daily basis: teachers, anyone in social work, any person that brings people into close proximity. We tend to "pick up" other people's energy, most times by accident. This can help rid you of energies that don't belong to you.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TREATMENT
The patient will lie down on a treatment table, only shoes are removed.
The practitioner will utilize their training and energetic treatment protocol to purge the excess, tonify the deficiencies and harmonize and balance all the energies in the body.
Physical contact is minimal.
All the patient needs to do is, relax and allow the energy to flow. Be aware of any physical feelings, emotions, or thoughts that may appear during the treatment, as these may give the patient clues in regards to trapped emotions.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER A TREATMENT?
You feel great! To keep that goodness flowing, be kind to yourself. Ideally, schedule in some self-care activities: warm baths, healthy fresh food, rest, lots of water. Keep nervous center stimulation down to a minimum for the first 24 hours. (Save going to the movies for another day)
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I RECEIVE A TREATMENT?
That will differ from person to person. If you just need to energetically clean off and internally balance, once a month. If after initial treatment an emotional issue, trauma, or event surfaces, then perhaps in 10-14 days, come in for another treatment to help you gain clarity, and progress with your healing. But in the end, how often you come in, and how quickly you heal is up to you.
